Welcome to this bonus episode of Occult Awareness, the podcast uncovering the hidden truth of a rare medical conditions. I'm your host, Amy. Last episode, we talked a lot in depth of his medical journey, his insights into the health care system. After turning off the camera. We had a very short conversation, but continues on the topic of health care.

00:00:31:11 - 00:01:06:22
Speaker 1
I felt the need to share them due to the importance of some points that he made. So let's dive into the enlightening bonus episode of a Core Awareness.

00:01:06:24 - 00:01:37:13
Speaker 2
Years ago, even. Even though I never had cancer, I used to. I was fascinated by, race. Like. Like by, I don't like to use the word alternative anymore, but alternative or complementary treatments for cancer. Not only complimentary by by saying, oh, drink this, you know, drink these Chinese herbs and, and you know, and you'll be cured of cancer or, you know, do this other treatment and you'll be cured of cancer, even though there are some of those out there.

00:01:37:15 - 00:02:09:00
Speaker 2
But even treatments within the medical field by scientists, you know, and we're supposed to trust science. Well, even treatment treatments by science somehow have have gone by the wayside. And and I question sometimes will you know, why why is is is, this is it because they didn't work? Or also, is it because, is it because, you know, there's there's no financial gain.

00:02:09:02 - 00:02:11:11
Speaker 1
Nothing.

00:02:11:13 - 00:02:41:11
Speaker 2
and not not to not to, you know, get into conspiracy theories. But again, the medical field is, is is a for profit system. Whether it's run by, the government, as in, one, whatever they call it, a, what is the term being used now? or or it's a private system like the one we have now, single payer system or a private system.

00:02:41:13 - 00:02:54:16
Speaker 2
so, yeah, even even looking at health issues and the research, I think that's that's what we were talking about, looking at the research, who's doing the research, what's the research focusing on?

00:02:54:18 - 00:02:59:11
Speaker 1
Yeah. it's not really holistic.

00:02:59:13 - 00:03:24:09
Speaker 2
I don't know. I don't believe it is. and, I times and again, we, I don't want to get into like, who's funding the research. Of course we can question that. but, you know, now they're now they're looking at vaccines for treating cancer. again, I'm not against vaccines, but I think I think they have the they have their limitations like anything else.

00:03:24:09 - 00:03:39:19
Speaker 2
But sometimes we just need to look at things differently. and, but, I unfortunately, within the medical field, if it's not making money, it.

00:03:39:21 - 00:03:41:20
Speaker 1
Sort of fits the code.

00:03:41:22 - 00:03:51:01
Speaker 2
Fits the code. But but also, I'm. Maybe I just need to say it again. If it's not making money, we can't do it. Yeah.

00:03:51:23 - 00:03:55:18
Speaker 2
I mean, literally, if you think about it.

00:03:55:20 - 00:03:56:19
Speaker 1
And then it's,

00:03:56:21 - 00:04:02:14
Speaker 2
It's it's got to make money. Yeah. Otherwise.

00:04:02:16 - 00:04:04:06
Speaker 1
The, Yeah.

00:04:04:08 - 00:04:09:05
Speaker 2
At the end of the day, it has to make money.

00:04:09:07 - 00:04:10:15
Speaker 1
That's the problem.

00:04:10:17 - 00:04:20:20
Speaker 2
I mean, I could I'll say, I'll say, I'll say this. This is an interesting story. So.

00:04:20:22 - 00:04:55:03
Speaker 2
30 some years ago, before I came to Environmental Health Center, and I came to the Environmental Health Center in 92, I called a clinic in Mexico and was still deciding where where to go, for, for for more treatment. and, so I called a clinic in Mexico. I have no idea who I spoke to. and, and then I decided for some reason, to go to Texas, to the environmental health center.

00:04:55:05 - 00:05:19:00
Speaker 2
I didn't know what they were going to do and how they were going to help me. I had no idea that the doctor would eventually suggest colon surgery and that that would save my life. But so I called this clinic in Mexico, and this person I spoke to, said that they were having amazing results, regenerating the organs, all these things.

00:05:19:02 - 00:05:27:15
Speaker 2
I was like regenerating organs in my mind. I was like, I by that point, I had done some crazy treatments that.

00:05:27:17 - 00:05:34:02
Speaker 1
Yeah, we will have like nowhere to really get treatment of here and like in a traditional sense.

00:05:34:05 - 00:05:59:09
Speaker 2
Right? Yeah. And I had done a few things that, that I wouldn't suggest, but at least one specific one. But so I'm hearing this regenerating organs and amazing results. And I'm thinking that sounds too good to be true. But on the other hand, I'm like, well, I don't know, maybe there's something to it. Well, long story short, I decided not to go to Mexico.

00:05:59:10 - 00:06:11:05
Speaker 2
But here's what I here's what I realized years later, because at the time, I didn't know. I didn't have the background. What he was talking about was stem cell therapy.

00:06:11:07 - 00:06:11:16
Speaker 1
Yeah.

00:06:11:16 - 00:06:36:01
Speaker 2
Stem cell therapy. We all know about stem cell therapy now. And I'm and I'm interested and curious what most people think of stem cell therapy. Some people will think oh stem cell therapy that involves involves fetal tissue. Yeah. There was that whole controversy with with former President George Bush Jr where, many groups were opposed to stem cell therapy from that standpoint alone.

00:06:36:01 - 00:06:53:20
Speaker 2
You know, we don't want to do anything that involves fetal tissue. Well, nowadays they don't need fetal tissue. They can they can get it from your bone or they can get it from your fat tissue. Then they grow it in the lab and then they inject it either into your joints or systemically. So it goes through your whole body.

00:06:53:22 - 00:07:11:10
Speaker 2
Well, they're still doing it in India, in Mexico and, Costa Rica in Belize, and probably in other countries. And you can still find some places doing it in the United States for a lot of money, but it's not readily available.

00:07:11:12 - 00:07:12:17
Speaker 1
For human trial.

00:07:12:19 - 00:07:36:20
Speaker 2
So, I mean, some of it is trial, but some of it is also, it's it's it's I think I think it's more than that. I think, I think it could be a lot cheaper than it is. I think it could be a lot more available to people than it is. And I think I think there's, some, some professional or some some professional organizations that feel threatened by it.

00:07:39:12 - 00:07:44:08
Speaker 1
Because they couldn't make money if it the words right.

00:07:44:10 - 00:08:00:15
Speaker 2
Yeah, basically. So, again, I'm not I don't want to go down that road too far in terms of conspiracy theories, but but if tomorrow they found a treatment for cancer that only cost $5,

00:08:00:17 - 00:08:04:16
Speaker 1
Why do we need those cancer treatment facilities?

00:08:04:18 - 00:08:08:08
Speaker 2
Yeah, that would be a problem.

00:08:08:10 - 00:08:12:09
Speaker 1
They would go out of business unless it's government fund.

00:08:12:11 - 00:08:36:15
Speaker 2
Right. So, Yeah. What would they all do? What would all those doctors and pharmaceutical companies and and imaging machines and all of these things. But where would they all go? So, I mean, it's it's it's it's something that, again, I think needs to be discussed, not not in a conspiracy theory way, but unfortunately, that's where it sometimes goes.

00:08:36:15 - 00:09:10:19
Speaker 2
And that's where we started this conversation was, look what happened during Covid. Some people were opposed to the vaccine. most weren't. but unfortunately you can't even discuss that now because you're labeled something. but I had friends on Facebook, you know, putting memes saying science, science. with, with a big, bold, fist in the air, as if we're supposed to just trust science because science in the end, it's it's it's it's it's statistically proven.

00:09:10:19 - 00:09:33:08
Speaker 2
And we know and but again, it isn't as simple. We know that with effendi and in these specialists, science has failed us. and and we know, the it isn't just about science, and it isn't just about research, and it isn't just about helping people. It is a business. Yeah. And you have pharmaceutical companies that need to be paid.

00:09:33:08 - 00:09:53:14
Speaker 2
You have insurance companies that that seem to be up there with the pharmaceutical companies in terms of the amount of money they're making. These days. You have, companies that produce imaging and, systems and all of these other things that also, it's a huge system.

00:09:53:16 - 00:10:12:23
Speaker 1
Yeah. This is a two huge to see what I can move and but yeah, but it's good to talk about it because, I mean, even if we can change anything, at least we know that what we're, fighting against.

00:10:13:20 - 00:10:17:22
Speaker 1
You know, like, we're trying to make something different.

00:10:17:24 - 00:10:46:03
Speaker 2
And. Yeah, you can't fight against it. In a way, it's. You're going to cut off your own foot. Yeah. You can't fight against it. I think. I think, you know, many times since the time I was sick, many times, supplements were threatened to be taken out of, health food stores and out of, pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens many times.

00:10:46:05 - 00:11:12:03
Speaker 2
I don't know who was involved. but, you know, it was about money. It wasn't about the safety of of people like you and me. Yeah. every year people die of Tylenol, and Tylenol is still available to anybody by going into CVS. So why do they feel so threatened by vitamin C that they have to take all supplements off the market?

00:11:12:05 - 00:11:22:11
Speaker 2
Many times it was threatened, but it's never happened. And it's only not happened because people pushed and fought against it and wouldn't allow it to happen.

00:11:22:13 - 00:11:44:23
Speaker 1
Yeah, I don't want to allow that happen. Was our poor brain stem, you know? Yeah. Because I mean, it is it is a hidden spot that no one really get funded for research. And then I feel like these people, that's why we have a another name, orphan disease.

00:11:45:00 - 00:11:45:21
Speaker 2
Of what is it called?

00:11:45:24 - 00:11:46:19
Speaker 1
Orphan.

00:11:46:21 - 00:11:48:23
Speaker 2
Orphan is.

00:11:49:00 - 00:12:08:21
Speaker 1
Yes. Yeah, it's called orphan disease, but basically a group of diseases that the doctors in order want to treat. and then you really end of with no care and you really end up with, like, nothing like people just waiting.

00:12:08:21 - 00:12:10:09
Speaker 2
How do you spell orphan?

00:12:10:11 - 00:12:11:15
Speaker 1
Just like, you know.

00:12:11:15 - 00:12:17:02
Speaker 2
Like the orphan. Oh, okay. Orphanage. Okay. So it doesn't it's not an acronym for something.

00:12:17:04 - 00:12:25:09
Speaker 1
It's not acronym. It's, super disease that it's describing. for people who actually don't get care.

00:12:25:09 - 00:12:26:14
Speaker 2
Oh, I see.

00:12:26:16 - 00:12:56:03
Speaker 1
unfortunately, where are those those spaces? Because even people knows that going to my surgeons office that might get treated might get canceled and clear picture. But how much can you pay. And I can't even travel. There's that's all the questions that these people have and they end up some of them you know homeless or.

00:12:56:05 - 00:13:10:14
Speaker 2
Yeah. No I, I knew people that that came to the clinic that ended up homeless because their families gave up on them and doctors had given up on them. They spent their life savings on trying to get treatments and yeah, yeah.

00:13:10:16 - 00:13:28:16
Speaker 1
Yeah. And that's one of those diseases. And there are actually good conservative treatment. Of injections. they inject those sugar water. And let regrow the ligaments that are faster.

00:13:28:18 - 00:13:28:24
Speaker 2
okay.

00:13:29:01 - 00:13:33:13
Speaker 1
Like but but a lot of people fail. People fail. So what's the next step.

00:13:33:18 - 00:14:01:12
Speaker 2
Well that's just, that's just like with stem cell therapy I mean I, I'm, I'm by no means saying it's going to cure every, everybody's problem, but but I think it has huge potential for certain problems. and unfortunately, it's just not available. Yeah. I know, and this is a name that a lot of people will know.

00:14:01:12 - 00:14:26:08
Speaker 2
Mel Gibson, the famous actor Mel Gibson. there's a YouTube video. If it's still on YouTube of of where Mel Gibson basically carried his father into a clinic in Costa Rica because he has the money to be able to do that kind of thing. His father, at that time, all his organs were failing by then. and he carried him into the clinic for stem cell treatment.

00:14:26:10 - 00:14:53:16
Speaker 2
he I think they were there for about two weeks. he said when they were leaving, his father was, basically, skipping and dancing out of the clinic. and, now, does that always happen? No. And he lived for another. I don't remember how many years, a couple of years after that. so it extended his life, and he got some quality of life.

00:14:53:18 - 00:15:05:18
Speaker 2
not just, you know, quantity, so to speak. but I know for certain, for certain conditions, for certain issues. It can be it can be a miracle in some cases.

00:15:05:20 - 00:15:06:15
Speaker 1
Yeah.

00:15:06:17 - 00:15:09:16
Speaker 2
But, again, availability.

00:15:09:18 - 00:15:13:00
Speaker 1
And you said it doesn't happen to everyone.

00:15:13:02 - 00:15:39:21
Speaker 2
Well. Well, no, I actually had a client, whose wife had severe fibromyalgia, and, they went to Costa Rica for stem cell treatment, and she did not benefit from it. I don't know why. again, I, I don't know the I don't know what the correct term would be. I don't know enough about her medical profile to understand her.

00:15:39:23 - 00:15:41:22
Speaker 2
Her particular fibromyalgia.

00:15:41:24 - 00:15:42:17
Speaker 1
Yeah.

00:15:42:19 - 00:15:49:15
Speaker 2
I know if I had the money to go to Costa Rica to do stem cell therapy now, I would do it with that.

00:15:49:16 - 00:15:51:23
Speaker 1
Cure your colon issue.

00:15:52:02 - 00:16:15:10
Speaker 2
Well, my colon issues are fine, but it might help with all the inflammation and other issues that I still have. at least it'd be worth a try, but, I can't afford to do that, but, but, for whatever reason, it didn't do anything to help her. So again, it's it's I've I've heard it helping people with Lyme disease.

00:16:15:10 - 00:16:31:12
Speaker 2
I've heard it helping people with multiple sclerosis. I've heard of people, helping people with a lot of different health issues. because, again, of the potential of cell regeneration. but again, everybody's different.

00:16:31:14 - 00:16:39:22
Speaker 1
This is yeah, I know my surgeon is involved in the, this stem cell.

00:16:39:22 - 00:16:40:14
Speaker 2
Stem cell.

00:16:40:14 - 00:16:46:18
Speaker 1
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it's because there is a potential market. Money.

00:16:46:20 - 00:17:08:01
Speaker 2
Well there is, there is I mean there's. I mean yeah definitely. Yeah. I mean most things, you know, cost money. I mean there's very few things that I know of that can be helpful. I mean, vitamin C IVs, but, they can help with inflammation, but they don't. They're not going to cure you of anything, but they can certainly help.

00:17:08:01 - 00:17:14:22
Speaker 2
But. Nope. Nobody even knows about vitamin C IVs. You're looking at me like. Like, you know, like.

00:17:14:24 - 00:17:21:21
Speaker 1
I just I just thought, like, all these things that it can really help. But one is not available.

00:17:22:02 - 00:17:22:10
Speaker 2
Yeah.

00:17:22:15 - 00:17:22:24
Speaker 1
It's too.

00:17:22:24 - 00:17:26:03
Speaker 2
Expensive. Sure. It's either not available or too expensive. Yeah.

00:17:26:04 - 00:17:31:13
Speaker 1
And the other thing is that a lot of people go in there for expectation. Probably.

00:17:31:14 - 00:17:32:06
Speaker 2
Yeah, sure.

00:17:32:12 - 00:17:39:05
Speaker 1
And without succeeding it, that really beats them down mentally. Physically.

00:17:39:07 - 00:18:00:11
Speaker 2
Oh sure. It's it's it's it's not going to be a I mean and I've, I faced that many times in the years I was, I was looking for health, or I was looking for answers where I would try different treatments. and either nothing happened or in some cases I felt worse afterwards, you know, that that's never a good fit.

00:18:00:13 - 00:18:08:10
Speaker 2
Never a good feeling. but, Yeah.

00:18:08:12 - 00:18:49:08
Speaker 1
Yeah. So we we try and I feel like the good answer is what you said at the end, you know, accepting. And I see so many people that end up with just, just live your life as if this what you can do. I think that that was great answer to many of these issues. And I think that, you know I thank you so much for bringing up those things because I think that we need to think about how this is.

00:18:49:10 - 00:19:14:14
Speaker 1
All about unfortunately all about money. And if we can actually giving them more care, more help. I think that would just be so much better, at least for some people's quality of life. Yeah. And the the research.

00:19:14:16 - 00:19:26:14
Speaker 2
Yeah. Yeah.

00:19:26:16 - 00:20:06:08
Speaker 1
